Stephen Latty (Co-Producer, Director) has worked for six years on diverse documentary and commercial film projects. Recently he directed a lifestyle documentary in Ghana for a major sports-clothing company about some of the players competing in the 2008 Africa Cup of Nations soccer tournament. In addition to his work on “The Drums Inside Your Chest” poetry performances and concert films, he is also working on a tour documentary project entitled “You Belong Everywhere” with poet Derrick Brown, which is being screened episodically on-line. Stephen is a 2003 graduate of the Film MFA program at Art Center College of Design, in Pasadena, CA, and a 1998 graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, where he received a BA with honors in English Literature.
